Join the Gallatin River Task Force and the Custer-Gallatin National Forest to help maintain our newly restored Upper Deer Creek river access site! Your work will help revegetation efforts that prevent soil erosion, restore fish and wildlife habitat, and combat pollution.
Volunteer Day Schedule:
12:00 - Volunteer Check-In
12:15 - Volunteer Orientation
12:30 - Seeding and plant maintenance
2:45 - Clean-up
What to bring: Work gloves, water bottle, sunscreen. Tools will be provided. If you have a shovel or long handled garden rake feel free to bring it with you.
Stay for the ribbon cutting ceremony and Gallatin River Forever Campaign celebration from 3:00 to 5:00. We will will have food and drinks to thank all of the partners, donors, and volunteers who have supported the Gallatin River Restoration efforts.
