The July 29th Volunteer Social honors a collaboration of art and conservation. All volunteers and community members are invited to join us in celebrating the completion of the Pollinator Garden Project at Ousel Falls Trailhead with our partners at Grow Wild.
The ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration begins at 5:30 at Ousel Falls Trailhead. Find us at the sculpture of the moose pair by Jim Dolan.
Afterwards, catch up on what's new at the Arts Council with Board President, Melissa McKeithen. Then take a short stroll with ACBS studio art instructor, Rile Oglevie for a special plein air session of nature drawing/journaling. Bring your sketchbook and favorite drawing tools. We will have extra paper and pencils if you need them.
Don't forget a water bottle, good walking shoes, bug spray and weather appropriate clothing!
