Big Sky Skijoring is a non-profit organization producing the most popular Skijoring competition in the nation.
What We Do
This event was created to bring the wild, western sport of horseback riding and skiing, aka Skijoring, to Big Sky, Montana.
We are back for our 8th year! The 2026 Best in the West Showdown will be held on February 7 & 8. This is THE MOST exciting event and it cannot happen without YOU, our amazing volunteers. We are stoked you want to help out and THANK YOU in advance for being with us on this Wild Weekend!
