The staff and volunteers of the Arts Council are going through CPR & AED training as we gear up for the summer season. We invite the Big Sky Community to join us!
Volunteers who commit to a minimum of 10 hours (2-3 shifts) of volunteer service over the summer for event such as Music in the Mountains, Artisan Festival, Shakespeare in the Parks, etc. will have their fees covered by the Arts Council. You may sign-up for volunteer shifts during the CPR/AED Training.
The only requirements to complete training, is to be able to physically execute chest compressions properly on the dummies. There is no age requirement, but our instructors advise participants be age 12+.
Please note that this is only CPR and AED training, and does not include the first aid certification.
We have 6 open slots that are available first come, first serve.
Not able to volunteer but still want to certify? Fees are $85/person for training and certification through the American Red Cross, payable to the Arts Council of Big Sky at the time of training.
Bring a sack lunch/snack, water bottle, and notebook.
