Who We Are
We are volunteers in and around Bozeman driven by a desire to build nonpartisan solutions to climate change. As an organization, we learn to have conversations with all people across the political spectrum, engage in lobbying opportunities, write articles and op/eds, deliver presentations, table at events, and engage in meaningful ways to move climate action forward.
If you are interested in long term engagement opportunities, or learning more about what we do outside of big volunteer events, please reach out!
What We Do
Citizen's Climate Lobby is a climate change organization that exists to create the political will for a livable world by enabling individual breakthroughs in the exercise of personal and political power. Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy climate change organization focused on state and national policies to address the climate crisis. We empower everyday people to work together on climate policy.
The Bozeman Area chapter is one of 420+ chapters across the United States building support in Congress for a national bipartisan solution to climate change. Globally, we also support 150+ international chapters on six continents. We exist to create the political will for a livable world by enabling individual breakthroughs in the exercise of personal and political power. We think that to pass effective climate policy, Congress needs to hear a chorus of many different voices. Our supporters cover the political spectrum. We don’t agree on everything, but we share the belief that we must work together on climate action.
